UAFS - Design Program
These projects represent the early development of my design process and demonstrate foundational skills in branding, packaging, publication, and digital design. Each project focused on solving a distinct communication challenge while exploring strategy, storytelling, and visual systems that continue to inform my work today.
TASK & RESULTS
For this collegiate web design project, I reimagined The Purple Cow’s digital presence around its signature slogan, “For the Young of All Ages.”
The concept focused on capturing the restaurant’s nostalgic, family-friendly personality through a playful and memorable online experience.
Taking inspiration from the restaurant’s vintage diner theme and combining it with a clean web layout, the redesign features hand-drawn elements, retro-inspired typography, and a warm color palette. Large photography highlights the food, desserts, and welcoming atmosphere, helping bring the brand’s charm to life.
The final design balances personality with usability, creating a website that feels fun, inviting, and true to The Purple Cow’s identity.

TASK & RESULTS
This packaging design project was centered around the creation of a premium stationery subscription box for individuals who appreciate writing, paper goods, and analog creativity. The goal was to develop a cohesive brand and packaging system that transformed the simple act of receiving stationery into a curated unboxing experience.
Inspired by classic writing instruments, bookstores, and traditional paper goods, the brand identity balances sophistication with creativity. The packaging system was designed to feel both refined and inviting, appealing to stationery enthusiasts who value craftsmanship, organization, and the tactile experience of handwritten communication.

TASK & RESULTS
This project reimagined Netflix's 2017 Annual Report as an immersive editorial experience that reflected the company's rapidly growing influence in entertainment and streaming media. Rather than approaching the report as a traditional corporate document, the goal was to create a publication that embodied the energy, personality, and storytelling synonymous with the Netflix brand.
The design concept drew inspiration from Netflix's recognizable loading screen and user interface, using moments of anticipation and discovery as visual motifs throughout the publication. Elements from some of the platform's most popular original series and franchises informed the visual language, helping transform financial information and company data into a more engaging and accessible experience.
The booklet combined bold typography, dynamic layouts, and cinematic imagery to mirror the feeling of browsing and consuming content on the platform itself. Careful attention was given to hierarchy, pacing, and information design to ensure complex data remained clear while maintaining a strong connection to the brand.
